This week I took a few days off from work and made a 3 day trip to Brussels, the capital of Belgium.
Everyone kept on telling me that I would not like the city, and how grey and boring it was. For me it was one of the most beautiful cities I ever have been.
Today I’m sharing 5 cliché things to see in Brussels because sometimes the clichés are too good to not to experience them.
1. Visit the Grand Place
It’s so colorful and the buildings are so beautiful that this is definitely a stop over. Just spend some time over there and eat some fries or a waffle.
2. See the Manneken Pis
I know, this is so cliché and the it’s really small (more than what I thought) but you still want to go to Brussels and not to see this?
3. Visit the Atomium
It’s the Iron molecule magnified 165 billion times. It’s huge, it’s massive and it’s so gorgeous at sunset when the lights are on and the sky is still orange or pink.
4. Visit the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert
It’s a great place to window shopping and to explore some of the most famous book shops and cinemas.
5. Visit the Centenarium Park
It’s great for catching a bit of sun or to relax after a day of exploring the city.
